Flying Friends: A Batpack Companion Project

hi all -- just popping in real fast to let you know that I wont be sharing a project update today in solidarity with the US general strike. while this project is based in canada, as a US citizen i have an obligation to stand with my peers (and i would do so even if i wasnt a citizen).

if youd like to support causes in the US helping those directly affected by ICE, here are my personal suggestions (but you can also donate to local immigration rights groups near you):

use 5calls to contact your local representatives & tell them you want ICE OUT of your communities.

and finally, i would hope it goes without saying: FUCK ICE. no one is illegal on stolen land.

amazing news, everyone!! just last night, we were able to unlock our next stretch goal -- a restock of the original batty blind bags, plus an all NEW series 2 set!



you can find the blind bags available as add-ons -- the original batty blind bags (or a full set) and the new batty blind bags (or a full set). one original batty blind bag is also now included in the batpack merch add on at no extra cost!

if youve already pledged, not to worry, you can change your chosen add-ons at any time! ive also organized my add-ons into sections to hopefully make browsing them a bit easier :)

their project, which is literally only $20ish bucks away from being funded (!!!), includes an adorable little mini mothman plush keychain, a super cool pin, & an even larger mothman plush if you want more moth for your man!

the honduran white bat! or bats, rather -- this pin features three of the tiny guys in a couple of lilies!

in case you didnt know, this design is a bit of a rework/callback to a VERY old honduran bat pin design i made in 2016!



i designed this during what was only my second pin project ever, so i'm super happy to get the chance to revisit it! i'll get to work finalizing this pin design over the next few days, & once we get a bit closer i'll put up a poll for the next pin!
