first of all, i wanted to thank you all SO much for turning up to support the preorder store! between people filling in their surveys & buying from the preorder store, we've sold a TON of batpacks & also made some great progress towards unlocking the tangerine bat pin!



unfortunately, both flying fox and vampire bat batpack designs are now currently sold out for the time being. not to worry, though, they'll be back! & vampire bat will be one of the designs restocked for the series 2 batpack project in may, so if youre holding out for one, not to worry -- there'll be plenty of chances to snag one moving forward :)

for flying friends backers: surveys are a little over 50% of the way filled out -- THANK YOU!! 🦇❤️ the sooner surveys are filled out, the sooner I can get an estimate on how many pins i'll need to order! so be sure to check for your survey in your email if you haven't already :3

a lot of ready to ship items (including batpacks) have a limited amount available, so make sure you take a look and grab anything that's low stock earlier rather than later!

hey all! after futzing with shipping profiles for 5 million years, the pledge manager survey has finally be successfully set up! we had to account for the batpacks requiring a different shipping package requirement if chosen as an add on, which was a bit of a nightmare to configure.

anyway, i've sent out the smoke test as of a few minutes ago! (EDIT: THIS UPDATE DIDN'T PUBLISH WHEN I MEANT IT TO. SORRY! THEY WERE SENT OUT A FEW HOURS AGO)

this means that ~5% of backers in each pledge level will get their surveys now, & I can double check and make sure everything looks good.

barring any issues that may arise, the current plan is to send out the rest of the surveys as well as open the preorder store on saturday at 10am PST!

as a reminder, your survey is where you will submit your payment method to be used to pay for shipping/tariff fees. your order CANNOT be shipped/accounted for until your survey is filled out!

hey all! I just wanted to let you guys know that i've submitted the post-campaign survey to backerkit for review, and once it's approved, the smoke test surveys will be going out!

if you don't know, the smoke test surveys are a test survey sent to a few members of each pledge tier just to confirm that everything is functioning as it should. once the smoke test comes back with good results, everyone else's surveys will be sent out! i'm aiming to have surveys out by the end of the week.

once surveys are all sent out, the pre-order store will open, as well. this is to make sure people who may want to add-on a batpack to their campaign survey have equal chance to do so before people who want to order just a batpack!

i'll have some more details about how the survey process is gonna work this time around + how the pre-order store will work in the next day or so. keep an eye out!

so, good news! i wanted to share a few exciting things with you guys:

first, I've actually had these for a while, but the returning backer stickers have arrived safe & sound!



the kraft paper stickers have been ordered, as well (the 48 hr supporter sticker), so once those have arrived, anyone who JUST ordered stickers from the campaign may actually get their orders as soon as next month!!

obviously this will still be after shipping & such is collected thru pledge manager, but it's still pretty exciting!

next, i know quite a few of you had asked about the possibility of original series batpacks being available as add-ons. i didn't want to promise this ahead of time, since i wasnt 100% sure how soon id have extra batpacks in hand, but GREAT news... 👀



extra batpacks are FINALLY starting to arrive!! 🦇❤️

i want to set a few aside to be able to sell in-person, and i have a VERY limited stock overall, but because i know so many of you were hoping to get them, i'm considering adding some to the flying friends pre-order store; this means that people who didnt pledge to the project at all could still order one, plus you guys could add them as add-ons when you fulfill your pledges!

there is ONE big catch, though. because these batpacks are now here with me in canada, any orders to the US will now have to pay tariff fees. you all already know this, but the original batpack campaign AND the batpack series 2 campaign im doing in may were/will be fulfilled in the states.

however, I can't guarantee that ALL the original batpack color variants will be available in may, either. i only want to restock the most popular colors, to try and focus on the new series 2 bags! so that's all stuff to keep in mind.

regardless, I still have to finish setting up pledge manager & collecting everyone's pledge funds, so this isnt something you guys will need to worry about for another week or so!
