When will I receive my items?

Items are currently estimated to ship out ANYTIME between April and August 2026. Please note that shipping times may fluctuate due to global policy changes, manufacturing delays, & more.

When will my card be charged?

Your card was already charged for your initial pledge tier. Your card will be charged for your shipping & tariff payments within a week of your survey, OR, at latest, March 31st 2026, depending on what items you ordered. This is in order to prevent failed payments by charging cards too far away from the date you filled in your survey.

What if my payment fails?

We will attempt to re-charge the card on file about once a week; if your card continuously fails, you will need to update your payment method manually by editing your survey.

I can't find my survey.

Double check your spam folder! If it’s not there, please reach out to me directly ([email protected]) or contact Backerkit directly to have your survey email re-sent.

I completed my survey, but I need to make some changes.

If your survey isn’t locked, you can make changes to it at any time. If your survey is locked (aka your address is locked to prepare for shipping), you will need to contact me directly ([email protected]) or contact Backerkit directly to have your survey changed manually.

I'm from the US. Will I need to pay tariff fees?

Yes. Any items NOT made in North America (aka pins, acrylic keychains and charms, memo pads, and more) will be subject to import and tariff fees. You will NEED to pay these fees when you fill out your survey, as the US does not have the infrastructure in place to pay tariff fees directly by the buyer once items enter the country; we, the seller, need to pre-pay tariffs prior to shipment.

I heard that tariffs are changing for items entering the US. Is that true?

Yes. The trade situation with the US is currently very volatile; current fees & percentage amounts, what items are included or excluded, or how fees are paid may be subject to change at any time. Your survey will include details on whatever tariff fees are currently applicable at time of writing (February 2026). This FAQ will be updated if this changes; changes to tariff fees will be communicated via project updates as well.

I wanted a pin design that wasn't unlocked during the campaign. Can I still get it?

We have a few options for unlockable designs via the pre-order store (that you can also choose to add-on to your pledge, if you like)! Please note that if you choose to add a product to your order that is NOT yet unlocked, you will NOT be able to pay for your shipping and/or tariff fees until either the locked item reaches its unlock goal OR the goal fails to be reached & the item is removed from your pledge by me manually.

My items were lost in the mail. Can you replace them?

Replacements/refunds are on a case by case basis. I (the artist, ANDPIERRES) am not responsible for anything that happens to your shipment once it leaves my hands – I’m happy to replace broken or otherwise defective items as long as supplies last, but for things like lost and stolen packages, you need to open up a case with your local post office/fulfillment service in order to get compensated.

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
